Sr. Purchasing Buyer/Planner (presently): 2000 - 2008

     • Skilled in buyer/supplier negotiations.

     • Understand contract execution, implementation, and administration.

     • Understand the material planning process and the computerized purchasing system, (MRP).

     • Conduct supplier visits/evaluations to determine suitability.

     • Analyze supplier performance using rating system.

     • Administer and coordinator of supplier managed inventory program.


Supervisor Manufacturing: 1998 - 2000

     • Was supervisor for two years, and was responsible for nine to fifteen employees on a very highly technical and automated assembly line.

     • Experience in union contractual issues.

     • Experience in manufacturing planning, quality control, safety and some plant maintenance.


Program Coordinator: 1990 - 1998

     • Over eight years experience as a program coordinator.

     • Was program coordinator on six different projects. Project manager in the implementation of source tags to Bayer Corporation diagnostic products.

     • Skilled at leading and working within a team to produce events that promote the organization image, mission and objective.


Packaging Engineer / Design Specialist: 1980 - 1990

     • Started with this company as a mechanical designer (CAD skills) in Research and Development.

     • Organized bill of materials and managed my own assignments.

     • Developed three-dimensional design models and the related drawings and specifications. This included plastic part design and working with the injection molder. A few of the plastic part designs I was involved in was Clinitek 100, DCA Instrument, Memory Glucometer and Clinitek 1000.

     • At one time was responsible for the form, fit and function for Research and Development of the packaging design for diagnostics instruments in the urine chemistry and blood chemistry.

     • My responsibilities included environmental testing, packaging design, cost analysis and the coordinating of packaging vendors
